In what way is it more powerful?

Madred's Bloodrazor +25 armor +40 attack damage +40% attack speed Passive: Your basic attacks deal bonus Magic Damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum health (maximum 120 versus monsters).

Devourer: +40% attack speed Passive: Your basic attacks deal bonus physical damage equal to 3% of the target's maximum health (maximum 75 vs monsters).

expecting an actual comparison/good argument on boards

top kek

That doesn't answer my question.

That's my point. It's not more powerful. But people will make things up to get upvotes and try to get people to agree with them.

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that Bloodrazor (new Devourer) is garbage tier...

It will be there to provide a nice baseline amount of damage for atk speed jungles.

my fault thought it was current health. confused it with botrk

It's more powerful because you will be applying the on-hit effect twice as much due to your doubled attack speed, making it an effective 6% in the same time. In addition, madred's cost 3800g, and this costs 2625g, making it 1175g cheaper and a lot easier to take advantage of.

What you lose is 40 ad and 20 armor. In exchange you get 2% more max hp shed, a 1175g lower price, and challenging smite which helps your team secure objectives and also gives you 20% dmg reduction and a true damage dot for dueling.

Worth noting, a kog with this and BoTRK will take 12 hits to effectively kill you before resistances from full health counting only the on-hit % damage. With the new Rageblade this is lowered to 9 attacks.

Actually, it gives 1% LESS than Madred's Bloodrazor.

Not worth a summoner spell and gimping Kog's already shitty early game.

He's still going to want to go for Rageblade first because he still uses all of its stats well and his base OnHit damage is pretty solid. It'll be interesting to see what the Rageblade changes do to him.

I really want to try rageblade on varus when it comes out

Don't see it being worth it actually

It's not going to happen, Kog'Maw's early game is too weak to give up a summoner spell slot for one item, even if that item works well with him.

Warwick insta kill with that same build :v

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

i'd bet that devoure is better on ww.

Venowolf1 votes

Maybe you don't knew the Madred Razors on Warwick in S2 that was a blood bath!

BluePolarizer1 votes

bloodrazor is weaker than warrior even for many autoattackers.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

not on kog maw tho. i do trule believe than bloodrazor is UP. under powered. as fuck but. not on kog

LadyRenly1 votes

sorry, not happening. Losing a summ spell in lane for this will weaken him even further against the meta adcs
