An idea for placement matches to balance things out :D

So right now, placement matches are broken af. New unranked players are matched into high silver/low gold teams. Which pretty much gives complete unfair advantage to teams.

How about, this?

A new player/smurf starts in bronze, but players who ranked last season, go through placements in a pretty similar elo they were in last season.

Now for smurfs, being in bronze is an obvious unfair advantage, and hell for bronze players who are trying to climb, so if the smurf has less than 180 wins in normals, he can be eligible for the "boost" , now what the boost is, that it detects the average performance of the smurf player, therefore, if the smurf player has an outrageous KDA/CS per min/Contribution to kills/Turrets destroyed etc, then the "boost" system automatically puts the smurf into silver 5 after the smurf wins total 5 games.

Then the system decides if the player performance is either mildly better than silver or marginally better than Silver. Then the maximum "boost" happens to Gold 5. Then from there, the player normally climbs elo with no more boosts.

So what do you guys say? Thumbs it up and bump it up if you think this is a good idea :)
