Microgameplay is so stressfull right now that I'm genuinely angry at myself whenever I lose a trade

With how everything is so snowbally, I barely feel like I have breathing room to do anything dumb. Every single errors have their impacts multiplied so much that macrogameplay completely goes past my head and apparently a lot of other players as well.

This isn't fun. This isn't healthy. It just encourages you to be on your nerves for 15 to 20 minutes straight solely because this uncomfortable state is apparently popular and the prime example of GAMING™ in China. MOBAs got popular because of their elongated game sessions and deep levels of strategy. Now, the gameplay directive LoL is on right now just seems taken from a mobile game influenced genera.

Agreed. That said, I don't think it comes from China. There's often been a misconception that Tencent is directing the game's balance, but Tencent is merely a holding company. They couldn't care less what the game is doing as long as it's making money.

Personally, I think it comes from a focus on the pro game. Specifically, they're trying to force a situation in which huge, exciting teamfights that are over after one great dive or one slight mistake happen frequently, because they make for good highlights to draw more viewers. Just a wild theory, though.
