I don't know what it is. Usually, I love this mode, sometimes even more than ARAM and SR and the others. But this weekend it's just felt like crap every time I've played. I know the rune changes are out and everything - but it just feels like every game is so stompy... and it never was that way ever.

Cybernetic Ghost3 votesThere was more risk involved in previous versions because you couldn't go back to buy items until you died. Now, you can go back but you won't heal. That's the only difference. It really changes the nature of the game by being able to buy without dying. Only a few champions really benefit from the new change, but the game mode as a whole needs some attention. I personally feel like the game is too snowbally. Once one side has near total control of the map, the other team has no real way to recover. Then you are sitting there waiting for the points to hit 200 just so you can join a different game. I would say that is Ascension's real issue.
