swain Still needs work!

Swain had a 50% win rate before the mage update then once the update hit he dropped to a 38% win rate and after the hot fix for him he is now at a 46% win rate.

if 50% is your goal and your update was a nerf to the champ via items or abilities then you need to add another hot fix to bring him back the the 50% he already had.

simple easy fix that everyone who plays him asks for. Make his Q range bigger OR reduces the time it takes his W to root. so much mobility

I think he's actually pretty good now, at least from the 3 games I've played on him so far this patch. IDK what his winrate is after the last buff on champion.gg (they don't release results till 3 days after the patch), but on lolking it seems to be near 50%. I think if all swain players maxed R > Q > W > E instead of maxing E first, his winrate would be at or above 50%. A lot of the dip immediately after his rework was from people still maxing E first not realizing that Q was better.

Have you played him both top and mid lane? I want to be able to play him mid again.

I played him mid against an Ahri, game went extremely well, but I had way less kill pressure than before since she can easily escape the Q (whereas E was reliable damage). I have to say the benefit of having good waveclear makes up for the lack of kill pressure, as I got about a 50 cs lead largely from the new Q whereas on old swain I would have been pushed under tower and missed a lot of cs. So it's kind of a mixed bag his laning is less interactive as you cant' really hurt mobile enemies who keep their distance, but you can farm much easier. Then you can get a quick ROA + Zhonyas and be a monster in teamfights.

I think he works mid, but you can't trade with or kill most enemy mid laners very easily, but they can't kill you either really, since you can Q the caster minions from a distance and it will kill all 3, and you are pretty hard to kill with the ult healing and the hp per lvl buff. His build is also easier as you dont' need magic pen to heal off tanks with his ult now.

every swain player knows to max E last but the change to his tether just makes it easy to avoid his slow that was needed to root. i play swain alot and its gotten harder to land that root and if you fight someone like kat or yas its gotten impassible. was hard before but wasnt impossible

Swain is very strong right now. He absolutely needs no buffs at this point and may need some mana or CD increases.

if that was true he wouldnt be so far under the 50% win rate

He is the highest winrate champion this patch. Get your facts straight.

Go check a real stats site for this patch or wait a few days to see I'm right. To suggest that Swain needs a buff now will just make Riot ignore these boards even more seeing how stupid some suggestions are.
