The weakness in yorik

its been weeks now and yorick is still winning at low numbers. I have been playing him on and off but it seems that his big weakness is he relys on catching someone in his W to do real damage and the majority of champions in the game have a dash to get out of it. Its a nice concept, a CC that isnt a cc but its not really useful. Im thinking that riot has just given way to many champs mobility and it making it hard to come up with good game design.

How do you fight a champ that relys on high mobility with out destroying that champs viability? cc has been the answer but his W is cc with out being cc. there for its not super effective
