Ranked system sucks.

Just went on a big run of wins yesterday. Had all component teams, all smart players, besides a person or two who had a bad game but still was smart enough to not throw and be useful. One single game had an atrocious player top and a bad not me and j ungle yi had to carry.

The enemy teams in most those games were terrible. Had enemies with afk's twice. One enemy with a feeder who built all dorans.

And I've BEEN on the other side before. In bronze especially, it is more about luck with teammates then skill.

Sure if you belong in diamond, plat, you are so good you can reliably carry, but what if you belong in silver, or gold? If you get saffled with these kinds of teams there is little you can do.

I felt bad for the enemy teams because I know what the good players on their teams were going through, and will again get teams like that.

Ranking has no account for personal skill, and doesn't have any way to match you up with appropriately skilled teammates.

Even being on the winning side I can see the flaws with this system.

Well, the thought behind this system is that, in the long run, the number of shitty teams will balance out with the number of decent ones, allowing you to climb. In practice, though, you have to be above silver skill level to efficiently climb out of bronze. There is absolutely no way to fix this, either- the system in place is the best one there is.

I've noticed the ranked system is far less about winning and far more about the other team losing. It's quite comical really.

Send some of that luck and good teammates this way. Because I never get either one.

There is no real difference between silver and bronze. Silver and bronze always have made up 80% of the community, and right now it's more like 85%. I guess for an average low elo game it's not based on the team members skill but which team will mess up more.
