Crazy idea for a buff to Sion's passive.

So commonly when Sion mains complain about him it's about his passive. It feels pretty weak and you don't feel like much of a threat to CC anyway because people can outrun you. Now granted his passive is allowed to be weak so the rest of his kit gets more power, but I had an idea that might safely buff Sion's passive.

His passive AS is capped at 1.75 and is uneffected by attack speed slows/buffs during that time. Now the only issue I've had with this is that some fun on hit Sion builds don't feel as impactful because his passive AS can be lower than live (if you're building AS AA Sion/On-hit juggernaut Sion. Fun build bytheway). So what if instead, Sion's AS reached the AS cap of 2.5 when in his passive to better represent how much energy is pumping through him as he's dying? Or maybe just 2.0 AS.

The only abuse I can think of off the top of my head is the interaction with item 3022, but Sion would normally use this anyway if he was going to cap on his passive and Mallet's state of balance could be changed to a more healthy state in response.

Thoughts?

would most likely be meaningless in 99.99% of scenarios.

The question is whether or not we want to add to sion's total power budget (because remember, sometime down the road after this hypothetical buff they could siphon it out of his passive and continue powering the rest of his kit). The latest buffs made him pretty decent if you ask me.

Hence why I think that it wouldn't be adding much to his power budget at all or require shifting power anywhere.

Yeah the shield buffs were pretty good. Honestly I'm just kinda bothered by the cap on Sion's AS in passive that we have no control over. If we can't control it, might as well be super high right?
