I can't even count how many games I played with and against this fuck, but it's enough. He's more broken than the kha buff. Nerf him already. Hes so broken fucking gut him already.

Yi is actually pretty shit with some very clear and abusable weaknesses. The problem with Yi is that his kit inherently punishes stupidity for a very low investment of effort and because SoloQ has so many morons, he tends to get fed a lot which makes him seem broken. But pray to be not be playing Yi against a half way decent team with working brains. Yi is completely useless vs good players.

I always thought he was broken until I did some minor spamming of him a couple months back. A couple games, I got super fed and turned into this 1v5 God. But when I ran into decent players that were prepared, boy it was not fun at all. Yi is only good if he can get fed off idiots. And unlike most champions, Yi has zero utility so even if you're 3-3, you can't really provide anything to your team. He could make a decentish splitpusher but there are other champs that do it better.

I have yet to see a single diamond player who claims Yi is op. It always varies around bronze to low plat.

People in low Elo been complaining about Yi for 7 years,... and they will complain for 7 more. Yi is easy to beat if you know how to play against him.

Maybe next game facing Yi you go a champion with a point and click stun instead of running Kayne or Yasuo 24/7.

Yi got sejuanied. Basically, they took away his minion dmg from q to stop him from being played in 'funelling' comps and then they gutted funelling.

I hope they do something so I can actually take him in lane and not get stuck in jungle.

He has clear counterplays, try to use this next time you play vs him:

His q cast times are as follows:

0.125s cast time.

Bounce duration: 0.25s - 1 target 0.5s - 2 targets 0.75s - 3 targets 1s - 4 targets

When he q's he follows his target and appears where his first target is. So you can

A) Run into your team, under tower etc to gangbang him B) Target your cc where you are to guarantee hitting him. Only way out for him is to burn his flash

Burst: While everyone seems to have burst nowadays and is weak to it. This is super true for yi, he is super squishy.

Pick Khazix, Graves, Quinn, Rengar, Talon, Zoe, even Renekton etc and you can pop him instantly. If he is miraculously able to react fast enough to press meditate, he will still be chunked and out of fight for a while.

Ult:

Without his ult, he sucks. It's simple. Every range burster auto attacker will pwn his ass before he even gets close. And his ult only stops slows, not snares, stuns, knockups (which everyone has now), charms.
