Gangplank's Silver Serpent Collection Rate

Is Gangplank only supposed to be able to afford 1, maybe 2, of the upgrades to his ultimate per game? I know I'm not a super high elo player (I'm not a super low elo player either), but I still have yet to see anybody actually be able to buy all 3 of his ult upgrades in a single game.

Can we make it so that he generates SS passively and just gets a bit less from his Q farming? There gets to a certain point in the game where spending the entire time farming instead of helping out your team has its consequences.

Seems like GP can get at least 2 upgrades. Usually I am pressured into helping my team because I know I will lose the game if I don't contribute to team fights, so i only get 1 upgrade before the game ends.

First upgrade at 20-25 minutes, second at 30-35, and third upgrade whenever. I always get 1000+ gold from his Q. I am so against your suggestion that he gain less from farming. What's so hard about dropping a single barrel on the wave, q'ing, and then leaving.

I generally get my first upgrade before 20 minutes and the second one before 30 minutes..

If you were easily able to achieve all three upgrades in a very short game, that would make it a bit broken, no?

If you max Q first, like you should be, you get 8 SS per minion, and if you manage to last hit a whole wave, that is 48 SS and bonus GOLD.. you have to remember how Gold Efficient that would make Gangplank also.

Gangplank's SS collection rate is fine at the moment, it is really just a matter of the player, not the character.

hi gp main here now ya tbh you are only ment to get 1 or 2 with the 3rd being for longer games and in my opinion you only NEED 1 item 3901 2 is nice item 3902 and 3rd is atleast more reliable but not much better item 3903 as for your ss solution i geuss they could add it since twisted treeline dominion and aram all have gp getting passive serpents but in reality you dont have a laning phase on those maps thats why gp doesnt get passive serpents on the rift plus farms alot more scarce on the other maps in the rift you can sometimes get around 2 large waves grouped a couple barrels blow right through them if your crit plank and thats where the barrels come in. barrels on a full critplank build can just one hit a wave making the idea of farming alot more reasonable and less of a chore than it sounds couple barrels then you can run back to join a team fight while everyones still turtleing
