35% WR Silver in Plat game

This is how Riot are treating new players entering ranked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxEGTmhchzQ&feature=youtu.be&t=731

Fucking kill me this games matchmaking is worse than trash, it is pig ****. A 35% wr player belongs in bronze, why do i need to carry a bronze player to win a plat game? Why do i have more vision score than the support? I can't even tp too help my team because we dont have any wards.

I'm not saying it's good to flame but do riot not see themselves as responsible somethimes? When they put a bottom tier players into games they dont belong?

You also have a loss to a silver 2 player a few days back. That cats sitting at a 59% win rate. If silver alone was enough to instantly decided a match you should have won that game. End of the day The tier systems does not accurately reflect any one players skill its an estimation at best.

Duo is only ever going to be a negative quality for matchmaker quality for as long as its tied to tiers and not set to be in MMR ranges. Duo fks things up. The 33% guy your complaining about has closer to a 50% win rate with the guy he duos with. He is not a new account, he was gold last year.

Don't target matchmaker for your anger, Target duoing. It creates all kinds of issues in match quality. Matchmaker would have a better time building balanced games with out the massive kinds of skill gaps between players duoed. bronze MMR silver player can Que with Plat MMR Gold player, that's a huge Gap in skill, no way in hell to build a balanced match.

IDK about that silver 2 player but "If silver alone was enough to instantly decided a match you should have won that game."

Well silver 2 with 35% winrate cant be equated to a 59% wr S2 player. And possibly that other silver player wasnt an assassin autofilled support. As I said the 35% wr belonged in bronze but was failed by the shitty placement system and can boost himself with duoing.

"End of the day The tier systems does not accurately reflect any one players skill its an estimation at best."

It could be a lot better if rito cared a bit about its intergrity, 1 of the big reasons high elo say all low elo is the same is the placement system and huge overlap in matches.

I consider the ability to duo a part of matchmaking and I dont put all the blame of this on duoing but yes I agree with you duoing is very bad. Should be for flex only. Your post is well thought out though.

I move to new citys every few years and a lot of my old friends i really only keep in touch with via league as that's the shared interest we had. A lot of them are lower elo and wanna play ranked. Im fine doing it cuz they my bros n all but it makes a notable impact on the quality of matches. some times my hommie is so out scaled by skill in lane they are a constant liability. some times i get vs some one so below my skill it would take effort to not get feed off my ass. It just throws a lot of RNG into the system when there is already inherently a great deal of RNG.

And ya got to remember that win rates not a consideration, a player MMR is. 1400 MMR player is the same to the system with a 25% win rate or 80%. The way Elo works is that that 25% win player may lose you that 1 game. they how ever consistently lose a majority of the games for themselves by not being good at the game. The then keep dropping mmr and getting into lower and lower ladder matches. bad players sink over a majority of games, good ones boost themselves up a majority, the thus the RNG in matches balance out over time bad falls good climbs, close to skill bounces around in a few divisions near their skill. For super bad players, Duoing keeps them into higher MMR then they should play at, and folks who are on huge losse streaks or just bad.. are more likely to ask for help and try to duo to balance out their win rates cuz constantly losing is not fun for most people. Like if your subpar 30% win rate its pretty likely you know your doing something wrong and to try to fix that. Duo is a lot fo players attempted fix, least i assume it is how often i have had folks ask for help in boosting them (turns out telling them to improve their play is not the help most folks want when they say this btw.)

I really hope riot has a EXP factor in their matchmaker, like if your 100 games in a league it puts effort to match you with and vs other 100 game players, i don't know if they do this or not.
