People say support can't win if their team is behind after laning
I say that's a funny way to spell ADC

Generally supports whine too much. They (often) have the easiest job in the game.

If you think support is easy you're probably doing it wrong
Not trying to generalize here.
But I'd say anyone can spam Janna and get to low plat.
Not when you have adcs who have an IQ of gromp.
That's rude to Gromp. I'll have you know, Gromp is royalty.
He is... ahem Lord Grompulus Kevin Ribbiton of Croaksworth.
oh yes they have it easy. If my highest winrate comes from supporting ( because i support a lot since i get bored of laning ) then i think a main would have an even easier time. Support is easy as fck all you gotta do is not die most of the time. Just pick a moving cc bot or a shield bot and you are golden.
Am I missing anything?
No but support is generally hardest because you have to rely on your adc to know what they're doing, if they can't everything you just listed gets multiplied in difficulty by 3 at the minimum.
That's not difficulty, that's just impact. I could easily say that any role is hard if you have a bad team.
You can't. Because in all the other lanes that's solely on you, nobody else. The adc is like the support playing as Nidalee, example. Every ability the adc uses and misses, that's a missed ability for the support, as supports generally don't go in for kills, they are mean't to protect and maybe poke depending on the support. However if a top laner, by himself mind you, misses an ability, who does that effect? Nobody except the top laner or when the jungler ganks. When you miss an ability it does not have an impact on the outcome of a game, it has an impact on the difficulty because you now have one skill that isn't able to be used again for awhile. It's like a Handicap, having a support is a handicap. If the support misses a skill, then what? The game isn't impacted, the difficulty of your lane increases because with that missed skill comes added pressure, and thought processing and too much thought = gg.
But couldn't that argument be made just as well for ADC? If anything, I feel as though supports have more power in lane.
I've carried bad ADC players, and I've also been carried by good supports (ADC is my worst role). Especially with engage-heavy supports, you can really decide how the lane is going to go.
It could yes, but the enemy team is also a factor in that, if you are by yourself like I said, it only effects you. If you are with someone it effects both of you. A lot of time if I get carried by my adc or support it's because I or the adc/supp capitalized on the enemy teams missed skills. It's also about knowing what champion you are up against. Example:
If I'm against a Jhin and I or my supp miss a skill, we're outdone by Jhin by default with no other contributing factors, if he misses his W, that's damage I won't get hit by, by either him or his support. That puts us on an even field, I can go back in a bit, if he misses another skill of his in that short window, I'm ahead and I should capitalize on it. If the jungler ganks, I have 5 free skills to help earn a kill of some sort for a total of 12-15 skills that could be hits or misses.

It's hardest to carry a game with support. It's not hardest role to play.
Not sure if you're implying that Support is hard, but having 4 points to learn isn't really much.
I'm saying that as a role, it's pretty easy.
Obviously some champions are mechanically harder but that applies to every role.

- Vision control
- Roaming
- Peeling/engaging
- 2v2 lane mechanics
Am I missing anything?
-support is generally default shotcaller -risk management for playmaking -jungle(r) control -dragon control -anti assassin (yes this counts as its own job)
and in some cases
-support is generally default shotcaller
Could also be jungler, or just whoever takes the initiative
-risk management for playmaking
Doesn't this apply to other roles as well?
-jungle(r) control
More so the jungler's job
-dragon control
Jungler's job again
-anti assassin (yes this counts as its own job)
That counts as peeling
- carrying games.
Again, every role
[{quoted}](name=Mecha MaIphite,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=R6s0ZlmO,comment-id=00000000000200020000,timestamp=2017-01-31T21:16:47.891+0000)
Could also be jungler, or just whoever takes the initiative
default for a reason. Jungler typically doesn't control the cc and the space around the game ending damage dealer
Doesn't this apply to other roles as well?
not to the degree of the support. while you're getting ready for poke the support has to predict, position, and ward. Hence why in most guides for support roles you'll get a lot of boot and positioning talk
More so the jungler's job
jungler doesn't typically have time for this nor the wards for this. 2 is not enough.
Jungler's job again
actually bot is more responsible for dragon "control" than the jungler. Its half the point of sending 2 bot in the first place. Its a lot easier in higher level games due to their predictive power however.
That counts as peeling
its not just peeling, you don't stop fed assassins just by peeling
Again, every role
carrying as a support is not the same as other roles
supp is easy to do. how hard is it to ward? and or peelish for the adc. I mean sure i hate jhin with a passion becuase i lose 99% of the gmes when there is a jhin on my team and last night i do not even bother trying when there is a jhin on my team anymore becuase probability states that i will most likely lose
supp is easy to do. how hard is it to ward?
90% of people do really shit warding
and or peelish for the adc.
which you cant always do unless you do shit warding and always have time to spare
I mean sure i hate jhin with a passion becuase i lose 99% of the gmes when there is a jhin on my team and last night i do not even bother trying when there is a jhin on my team anymore becuase probability states that i will most likely lose
It helps to be good at support when you have a jhin
it helps if the adc doesnt use jhin, doesnt help i lose every time he is on my team it doesnt matter whom i am or where i am i lose. same goes for
I'd enjoy watching you trynna hit a
hook
Avoiding a blitz hook in lane is the most annoying thing ever.
Thats why I became a Blitz main :p
Avoiding a blitz hook in lane is the most annoying thing ever.
Trying to get blitz to grab you can be equally frustrating

That's why Leona has a super easy engage and as a Taric, you're just gonna stand there as a free kill after your stun wears off.
if they run you kill blitz if they don't you kill them
if they ever get a chance to run that is.
remember this is duolane btw
If the blitz is good, there is nothing you can do anymore. Just don't leave your lane so he can't team fight and wish that the other lanes don't feed.
When i go top i am relaxed because i know my own mistakes will cost me the lane however at bot lane it's different. You need to co-operate with your adc always trying to protect him from dying. I'll say some supp have it easy but some supp really have to put effort into it. Although generally i find mid kinda hard because jungler will come so often just because of roaming.
