EDIT: I go into Solo and Flex as a single person, rarely do I invite friends to ranked. In this game I was not with a premade team.

I'm Plat 1 in flex D5 in solo
My flex games consist of gold 5-challenger solo queuers. lmfao. And I'm gaining 28 lp per win. It's stupid. The queue times are ridiculous. I wait for about 15 minutes before I get into a game. I guess Riot's algorithm just puts people in random games if they wait too long

DQ does have separate MMR. I assume what he's showing isn't soloq rank but dq rank otherwise he wouldn't be here.
Even then there's bigger underlying problem with DQ than that when it replaced soloq in season 6 (fuck season 6 LOL).

SanKakU1 votesIf the matchmaking really wants to see if a silver player can beat a platinum player, I'm all for it. But it better put him with only silvers on his team and I want the entire enemy team to be platinum. Don't mix and match players into unbalanced teams.
Of course if it's the 5vs5 thing, then the players have only themselves to blame for picking their teammates and in that case it doesn't matter. But I'm guessing this guy is in a party of 2 or 3 or he wouldn't be complaining.
