I swear just went like 50 minutes in a match and I was a full build Tristana, and she was a full build Vayne....I got wrecked and then she proceeded to 3-4 shot my team even the tanks.
The only other person I can see killing her is a fed Draven or Jinx, I didn't realize Tristana's late game was garbage.

cHAncEman12922 votesIt depends on the terms of engagement. Vayne is an exceptional duelist and she will prove this to you in a fair fight.
In terms of team fights. Jinx and Twitch take the cake in my opinion for strongest late game carries. They'll wipe your entire team before you can coordinate a response.
For team fights lasting more than a couple seconds I believe Kog'Maw and Tristiana take the cake just due to they're range. Caitlynn while she has the range doesnt have the same steroids.
What makes Vayne so potent is how exceptional she is at navigating fights with her kit. She can easily outplay a bad engagement or an enemy ambush and come out on top, whereas other carries would get popped or have to run.
In terms of competitive duelists. I really can only see Quinn and Draven beating Vayne one on one late game.

Final Remnant 2 votesNope and in hindsight someone should have, we did have a tanky Sion but I don't think he built Thornmail not really sure why and nobody built a frozen heart either.
I know Thornmail + Frozen Heart really hurts Vayne's damage.....

Like, I'll be honest here, Vayne is a hypercarry but she can be defeated like any other adc. Your team made a mistake, and paid for it. In the future, you can remind your teammates to build those if you think Vayne is going to be the enemy's mvp. Most supports do fine building Frozen Heart (even Morgana!).
Tho if you're in ranked, I suggest a bully like Graves to counter Vayne. His burst, if done right, can shut her down early.
redniwediS1 votesVayne is the classic late game ADC. She just has problems getting there with so many other ADCs having better range and better mobility. She has the strongest natural tank busting kit out of all marksmen, unless you build Kog'Maw AP, and then he's not an ADC.
Trist, compared to Vayne, is an early-late game ADC. It's like saying Jax has a bad late game when compared to Nasus. Jax has a great late game, however everyone's bad when compared against the late game king. Vayne's simply the late game queen.

Her late game isn't garbage. It's just not Vayne's late game.
Also - half of Tristana's late game mostly has to do with her team-fight power. Her range is a pain to deal with and easy for her team to work with. Vayne's entire kit is 100% 1v1 me brah power, and 100% late-game. Letting a game run 50 minutes and then trying to 1v1 Vayne ahead of your team? REALLY BAD IDEA. Even as a late-game god like Nasus, Tryndamere, or Poppy - there's a solid chance Vayne can and will kill you.
