These boards are confusing as hell I want the old style back

First off I have absolutely no idea where I post threads regarding feedback on champions would it be under gameplay and balance? like I wanted to know who is better between Gnar and Azir? On the old forums we just had general discussion which I enjoyed so would that be considered Misellaneous now? also I completely agree that you guys ripped this off of reddit with the upvoting and downvoting system and I'm not even sure what purpose that serves it's kind of similar to the + and - system you guys were running on the old forum and I guess you thought that wasn't good enough so you had to make it look like reddit.

I would say so, yes. If it's involved in the mechanics of play, it belongs in Gameplay & Balance.

Do you want to play a champion that's buggy as all hell? If not, go with Gnar. Otherwise, there is no real comparison to be had.

This type of comment never ceases to annoy me. Any time any company decides to do something, people immediately try to find the thing it's "ripped from". Everything is inspired somehow, and almost nothing happens to be original. Some of the greatest creations have been made by the process of picking the great things from a bunch of different inspirations.

Both of your topics make a ton of sense in gameplay and balance. You could also post them in GD or Misc if you'd like.

just post everything in GD. who cares? mods will move it to right place if its wrong. make them do their job.

I stopped being active on the Forums because the boards confused the heck out of me. You have done a lot in adding extra categories since the Beta though and its smoothing out. As far as I can tell the upvotes/downvotes don't make anymore of a difference than the thumbs did on the old boards if you sort by new instead of votes.

Is there a way to change the visuals on the boards on a use level? I really don't like how dark the background is and I think having multiple visual themes could improve the overall user experience.

You are correct.

GD. Although, IMO GD is more like the old forums' off-topic, and off-topic posts in old GD, while on-topic posts in old GD go in Misc now.

also I completely agree that you guys ripped this off of reddit with the upvoting and downvoting system and I'm not even sure what purpose that serves it's kind of similar to the + and - system you guys were running on the old forum and I guess you thought that wasn't good enough so you had to make it look like reddit.

Well, first off they didn't copy reddit. As you pointed out, upvoting and downvoting existed on the old forums, with + and -, it just looked different and didn't affect sorting. Now, it does affect sorting IF you're using the 'hot' view. However, comments ALSO affect that sorting -- the algorithm they use for hot sorting is very different than reddit's.

I'd like an ARAM sub section under G&M. ARAM was the only place I'd visit in old forums and now I have to scavenge the wide discussions in G&M.
