Come on Riot every time I try to login the servers are down because you have to fix something. I am glad that at least you are fixing issues but good lord I want to play League and I can't do that if the servers are down for hours and hours on end. I know you say it will be up in like an hour but that usually means it could be 5-6 hours before it's finished.

Mysticman893 votesIn their defence, the preceding 3ish hours I didn't want to play (despite 'wanting to play') because of lag and responsiveness being kinda sketchy and not wanting to risk dcing. At least after maintenance is completed I have reason to believe things are all fresh and good to go.

It might be an endless cycle, but there are windows when the game works perfectly (at least with the champs and builds I use). Just before this downtime was not that window, so advancing through the cycle to maybe get closer to such a window is desirable to me.

Riot's actually a very responsive company with regards to customer service. It's run by people who clearly have a passion for gaming.
Blizzard seems like it's a company run by people who just do it because it's their job. Riot's a far better company.

they'd fix it and didn't... They might not keep the game 100% perfect all the time, but keep in mind that THE GAME IS FREE. Yes people are buying skins but how often do you buy one? You can't really compare it to blizzard where you have to purchase the updates and on top of that, pay for monthly membership. Blizzard just has more resources at their disposal.

Yeah, the servers were down pretty much all of Wednesday, but you all are acting as if they shut the servers down just to fuck with you and ruin your fun. Now if they had left the servers up and continued to have disruptions of game play then that doesn't do anyone any good either. Maintenance needs to be done from time to time, it's just going to happen because things can't always operate perfectly. They wouldn't do this unless it were warranted because it makes no sense to do something which will trigger a bunch of mouthbreathers crying on the boards.
