Shouldn't patch 6.18 have arrived Yesterday?

I thought Riot was doing a patch every 14 days this season. Are there last-minute issues that needed fixing?

I understand that the worlds patch must have a minimal of flaws, but I really liked a lot of nerfs that are coming in this patch and I'm waiting like an impatient puppy.

Over here we have a holiday called labor day, a lot of companies and businesses don't work on that day. Monday was labor day so riot didn't work one day this week pushing the patch back a bit late

The patch is launch on September 8th in the US, not sure when that is for EUW time zones.
