Why Dark Harvest Champions are not allowed to gank?

Collecting souls empowers your next basic attack for 20 seconds

At 150 souls the duration is extended to 300 seconds

Can you please allow me to use my keystone early game as a jungler?

It's fine early game, they drop off cannon minions and they're good in jungle fights.

the dmg is pathetic early game, what? electrocute is guaranteed to do more dmg and is more consistent for early game. dark harvest is much more situational than you people think, you cant just use it whenever you want. you have to plan your entire gank path and gank timing around harvest drops. jg to jg for example, if you are solo invading and you cant get your soul your ass is pretty much done since now you dont have a keystone activated and your enemy more than likely has electrocute, and even if you do get it you still lose the exchange because electrocute does more dmg.

The damage difference should be 15 - 20 at most.

I kind of agree with this, at the very least it would be nice if we could get some insight into the reasoning behind restricting it to 20 secs in the early game.

My suspicion is mostly because the keystone is actually pretty strong already, and that's including the time limit. If you removed that and didn't require fast and opportunistic play, you'd likely have to nerf the keystone to account for the extra reliability.

So I guess the question is would you prefer a weaker, more reliable effect, or a stronger one that requires more conscious play around it?

Little known fact: champion kills give more stacks than monster kills xdddd

It's already pretty damn strong to be able to do a big chunk of damage boost starting from the first camp cleared. If you invade and the other jungler doesnt have DH you can pick up charges off jg camps theyve killed then smack them with bonus damage. hell it even drops off your own allies when they die so you can grab a charge then go up for hard hitting cleanup kill. 20 seconds is more than enough time to clear a camp then go gank, unless you're doing shitty ganks where you sit in a bush for 30 seconds waiting for something to happen which is a waste of your time anyways
