Let's talk about Promos and Series.
Why is it, that every time i hit my series games, i run into the absolute WORST this community has to offer? try Vi's who dont know how to jungle they dont ghank, nor do they ward, and then blame the support as if im supposed to be warding HER jungle. she yells at me for not having a sightstone (despite buying ample wards on every backing to compensate.
then I got the mother of all 'fuck you' teams

this isnt an issue in other ranked games, so why do i suddenly have to get hit with this shit in promos? While im talking why are there series games to climb the 5-1 ladder once you get to 100 you should be out of that tier, likewise once you get to 500 then you can have tier promo games. the whole thing just seems ridiculous and puts unnecessary stress on players, especially in solo queue
I shouldn't have to worry about having to win 2 more games plus another 2 promos just to get back to where i was... seriously 4 games? this is solo queue, you dont know who or what you're going to get. and if you so happen to get fuckboy gnar over here in your promos then you're just going to have a miserable time.
Sky Williams has said it best, Trolls have too much control over you in solo queue. and this is exactly what happened. and i cant dodge this catastrophe because if i do i will lose my series. so now i have to sit through a game with a religion hater (particularly islam) and a troll who doesnt communicate and plays a champion he proudly proclaims to have a 19% winrate of 29 games..... You got that right it. out of 29 games, he's won 5. I then op.gg search this guy and he has a friggin 25% winrate.
i was doing just fine before, why is this guy who clearly belongs in bronze 5 in my promos?
and before you even say "lol get gud" let me just make a few things clear. 1: this has happened at least once or twice in my last 7 promo games 2: in every streamer who has charted their ranked progress this happens to them as well 3: there is a 49% winrate in promo games on average 4: im well aware that this doesn't just happen in bronze. as a matter of fact it's the reason my previously gold friend didnt play ranked this season. 5: ranking should not matter in concern for community behaviour, and addressing seemingly arbitrary milestones for ranked.
I play ranked to face the best of the best in my skilllevel with my best skills. i do not play to watch teams fall apart completely. and i do not appreciate having to be stuck in a game or face penalties (especially in a series) where i have to try and glue the broken team back together. Series games are bullshit. Yes im aware that it's a matter of perserverence, but at the very same time, it's a horrible feeling that games get lost due to factors foreign to you.
