Is janna and braum enough supports to main?

For ranked if I only prepare 2 supports is that enough? They aren't banned that much (supports usually aren't banned as a whole)

Edit: My friend said learn thresh instead of braum so I'm switching to thresh and janna

just play braindead champions for roles you suck at. support is definitely the easiest role to play in the game. just get a sighstone and peel ur adc all there is to it.

especially janna. this champion is so fucking easy. i guess knowing how to play another support is good in case janna's taken.

Actually, the easiest role is ADC. Just trade for more damage than you get and CS and that's laning phase; they even get a dedicated babysitter. The support handles warding, harassing, engaging, peeling, positioning, and harassing while the ADC can just sit back and last hit for ten to fifteen minutes. And yes, I do play ADC.

The fact that a lot of players can't CS or that support is the role where people get put and told to not touch anything are different matters entirely.

Yeah, if all you do as a support is 'peel for adc' you probably suck ass at it.

There is a lot more to it.

Pick up a third support and you'll be fine, preferably one with a different playstyle, like Alistar, so you can accommodate various laning styles.

Depends on what you mean by "main." Do you want to play support in ranked, or do you just want to be proficient enough with a few champs that you can support and not feed?

If you want to main support, you'd do well to have a deeper champion pool than that. If you're comfortable with Jana and Braum, then you should try a little of Nami and Leona, just so you have something to fall back on if, for instance, Janna's banned and Braum is one of red side's first picks.

Janna Braum Morgana

Cover the 3 general types of supports and can be used against pretty much any comp.

You should be fine with those. I don't think any supports really warrant bans atm except for ones you don't want to play against(Morgana ) or one that you don't want on your team(Bard ). In general, as long as your aren't picking ban worthy champions, 2 off-meta picks should be fine for every role. Depending on your "main" you can pick Lulu if you want, since she can basically go everywhere and be useful.

Thresh is fun but he is undertuned and doesn't win as much as other supports. Braum and Janna are both passive supports who protect their teammates quite well but sometimes an agressive support is called for like Morg or Leona.
