Best Advice for ARAM?

First item Coin... every time... every champion...

Gold wins games in ARAMs, get the coin, get the gold of minion deaths, get better items.

I know it seems odd, since you won't likely be able to beat the enemy team lvl 1 with the stats a coin offers, but...

If you just clear the minion waves constantly, and draw it out till everyone on your team has a substantial amount of gold, you'll gain an advantage as soon as you all die.

Also, upgrading to the Shurelya's would give your team 5 Shurelya's mid/late game... It's ridiculously strong.

Thoughts?

I think it depends who you are and who you're playing with.

If your team is all on the same page that you don't want early engages, I agree that gold items are OP. But if there are players who are going to go in because YOLO, you're just handicapping yourself.
Different champs can make use of different gold items.
- Building Marksman? Don't buy a gold item - you should be farming.
- Long-range poke? Start spellthief's
- Need mana and hp sustain (supports without spammable poke)? Start coin.
- Want some cs (nasus) or tankiness (most bruisers)? Start Targon's.

My personal best advice for ARAM is make sure your team collectively owns all the aura items.

It's hard to say since you just never know what you will run up against, but I would say get aura items. They can make a huge difference. Lastly, just making sure your team is on the same page as to what kind of game you guys should play.
