Perfect example of power creep from patch notes.
Blade of the Ruin king was buffed for not being a tank shredder. It was buffed too much that riot decides to increase the cost by 100!
What do they do next?
all get a small "minor" buff of 5 AD added
WHY
At what point does AD damage need to be increase? What is their reasoning? If you are nerfing BOTRK by increasing the cost, why must rriot still buff ad damage? Then they wonder why ADC champions like Vayne or Cait can 3 shot champions when only 2-3 seasons ago, these champions wouldn't be able to do that until the end game.
Now? You see champions damage spike at mid game despite being "designed" to do so late game. I'm sure someone is going to say that this is only 5 AD, who cares? The reality is, power creep does not happen over the course of 1 patch. It happens over the course of a year plus.
Just the last 3 patches, all AD items that ADC's buy has been buffed despite having one nerf. Overall, the trend is... ad gets buffed
FYI to anyone else, increase cost, does not mean AD damage has been decreased. It just means it's delayed!
