Poll to solo players: Will you play the new Ranked Flex Queue? How often?

L0ve Is Blue··7 votes·6,675 views

As some of you probably already know, Riot announced the return of solo/duo Queue! Yay!

Alongside with that, they announced that Dynamic queue will keep living under the name of ''Flex Queue'', where you can play as a premade or as a solo player.

But as someone who prefers solo play myself, I am asking myself; will solo players Really play the new Flex Queue? Because this queue cannot fuction without solo/duo players to fill in for 3/4 man premades.

Talking for myself, Dynamic Queue was the worst ranked experience I ever had and I sure won't play it ever again if I am playing solo and I have to chose. So I am asking myself, how many solo players will play Flex Queue?

Feel free to share your opinion!

*If Flex Queue fails to bring enough solo players, it will be replaced with the good ol' ranked team.

*The Poll is aimed at Solo players

inb4 not enough solo player play dynamic flex queue and it ends up getting removed all together.

My initial thought is that flex queue may be better for me as a support player than regular queue. I feel I am more likely to see teams with a front line, where supports have a broader function than being the ADC's bullet proof vest.

however, if flex queue becomes "league of 4 men dives on botlane", maybe i change my mind.

Yeah I'll be avoiding that cancer flex queue all together. Riot players and all of the "silent majority" that enjoyed dynamic queue can all team up with each other in that cesspool of a game mode.

The rank earned from flex queue will be viewed just about the same as the Twisted Treeline ranking ... in other words, it won't be. Enjoy your premade cancer fun. At least now they can have it all to themselves. Good fkn riddance dynamic, you won't be missed.

I'd play flex q only to get to gold if the rewards will be great, like I think a lot of people would, but that would only be towards the end of the season I guess.

I might play some flex but if i do I won't end up taking it too seriously. My most likely use for it would be to test to see if I have practiced a champion in normals enough before I take them into soloq.

I'll play as a solo player in flex to hit gold just for the extra rewards, but other than that I'll be solo Q all the time

Personally, I can't tell you if I'll play both or just one of the two yet. It sounds like there are different rewards for playing in each type of queue, so I'd like to see those rewards before making that decision. Of course, it also depends on my experiences in each queue type, whether good or bad, but to make even a preliminary decision, I'd like to see exactly what the differences in rewards will be.

Outside of rewards, I wouldn't mind playing either type of queue. I am a pretty competitive person, so if the rewards were different enough, I would spend an equal amount of time in each queue to get as high a level of rewards as possible.

I will play both for extra rewards. Players gold + probably will do the same and use flex to mess around with friends. There will be a few try hard groups who use flex to try and climb ladder higher than they solo can. Then there will be some boosted players and others who just use it as casual since they don't really care about rank.

I wonder if this means there two separate placements that need to be played and which one goes off your current dynamic queue rank?

Since they are offering a special (unspecified) reward to players who reach Gold in both queues, I will play both of them enough to reach Gold at minimum. Though, I'll probably only have to finish my placement matches to do so.

That said, I'm likely going to play primarily solo/duo queue since match quality will likely be higher. If it means that I can go back to having a four division difference (at most) between players in my games, I'll be ecstatic.

I play LoL to play with my friends. I have no reason to play soloQ over flex queue because of this. Normal sucks since people always pick champions they're not comfortable with to learn them. I like the competitive team aspect, so flex queue ftw! I might play a bit of soloQ just to get my rewards, but that's about it.

Both are the same to me to be honest. It's kinda redundant. There should be only one ranked queue. Don't really care if it's Solo/Duo or Flex.

48 players on 62 will prefer Solo Queue and 7 on 62 will prefer flex... The results speak for themselves!
