What AP can teamfight better than vladimir?

There are lots of better teamfighter than Vladimir as Vladimir excels at smaller skirmishes exactly. The only reason why he is not borderline useless in TF'S is his ult but still he is NOT a good tf mage.

better/equivalent team fighters would have to be those guys are all close to Vlad in terms of team fight prowess (some are better, some are a little weaker, most it depends on how they do in the match).

How in the hell is annie not mentioned by anyone? She is probably the best team fight mage in the game next to orianna.

Good damage, tons of CC, and able to gap close into a fight and lockdown the carries.

Rumble might be able to. Kat too. Her raw AOE damage is pretty massive. Cassiopea can if she gets a good stun off. Her raw DPS is far superior than Vlad's dmg.

Cho maybe not able to out teamfight but he can shut down Vlad's teamfight decently.

Depends on vlad build and positioning. He could theoretically delete a fed adc with zhonya+pool with a carry-centric build , but he also may be up against Lissandra who cuts him off and gets him too low to get out. Typically, low peel/low mobility comps struggle heavily against Vlad, who can run msquints without substantial punishment and can turn into Ap ranged Dps Fizz for 6 seconds with zhony+pool. Pain in the ass for supports not named morgana/Janna.

Orianna has to be the best team fighting mage in the game but another one I like is Lissandra. Provides unbeatable peel for herself and every other carry from assassins and other melee threats as a whole, while also being able to be a bit more aggressive to dive the ranged carries she wants to lock down.

Vlad only shines during midgame, he's alright if he snowballs during that time but otherwise he doesn't have a lot to bring to teamfights lategame. He has no good peel, no CC and no mobility.
