Ranked is no longer about skill
I decided to try out a new account to smurf on and see how "hard" it is to win games according to low elo. Let me just say long story short, they're right. The game feels more like RNG than anything I have played. Every single loss on this account has been due to either the whole team dying too much, someone afking, or someone who straight up just doesn't want to win. Not a single one of these games have been because I lost lane, fed the enemy, or made a game costing play. To all the people who are in low elo, wondering what they can do to rank up in this season, I feel bad for you. No matter how much skill you have, it just doesn't seem possible anymore. It feels like im playing a slot machine rather than playing a skill based game. It doesn't matter how well I do in laning phase, it doesn't matter if I get all the drakes/rift, nothing matters in this elo anymore.
If you feel the need to look, heres my op.gg. Look at all the losses and see for yourself the abundance of skill required to rank up in League. What a mess Riot, my heart goes out to all those trying their hardest to rank up but simply cant because of this RNG matchmaking.
