Then how come I keep getting players who are same rank as everyone else in the game, but have 20-30% overall win rates? Shouldn't their mmr be in a division lower instead of higher divisions? I just had a 39% overall winrate Plat 2 in a game with all plat 1 and diamond players. Why is he not playing with plat 4s or gold 1s?
Because then the game would be balanced and competitive. Instead you get to automatically lose a game because of Riot's dogshit system. Also, you better not say anything else other than "GG" after a BG, or we will ban you.
