Has anyone else felt the drop in skill from supports? I stopped playing the role because it is so much harder to carry as a support but still acknowledge the need and benefits of a good support player. But because of the drop in popularity of the role, it feels like I'm see so many more people who just pick it and don't even know what they are doing.
OurLestrade1 votesThe majority of supports are still last pickers sadly, they either have no idea what they're doing or play badly in spite because they're childish.
DefNotABot1 votesmy theory is that premades in dynamic queues will often have that "one friend" who's really bad so they just casually ask them to support to avoid doing any harm in a solo lane
Goosetard1 votesIt's probably because the part of the player base that would like a functioning support secondary role (like myself) don't play support anymore. I used to main mid and go support if nobody else wanted it, and I think i had a decent handle on it. Now you either get someone who still mains it (which was rare in the first place) or you get someone who threw a support role in there for better queue times, or multi-role requirements in a party.

OneTrueGzus1 votesIve always wanted to main supp and tryed to but at that time i was in bronze 5 and u cant climb playing supp so was forced to drop the roll to play a more impact-full role
soulbatt1 votessome supports are honestly bad but also i think people have a hard time understanding which adc works with which supports such as i recent game where i went leona support and adc went teemo VS lucian name needles to say the teemo couldnt dent lucian due to namis heal and sadly that teemo didnt want to focus nami first with me

yeulx1 votesehh im a support main tho i kinda suck ...but theres multiple issues to why u might feel like that even alot of other aspects of the game changed between mages..tanks top.mid.jungle.adc.. and yet support actually has just stayed teh same. we dont have as much as an impact on the game and i kinda wish they added something in that supports could only do.. other than warding and babysitting bottom lane to make an impact.. i know u can roam but sometimes when u try to ur adc just dies..... i wish they added in a ton of support items for only support players to impact the game like the items 
i think those are only a few of the only true support items that are in the game ...and i think there deserves to be more...
