I am going to dodge every single game this system decides to put me in a lane I don't want to play.

At the end of the day, this is a game... and if you don't want me to play, that's fine... I'd rather wait a relatively short dodge timer and having fun elsewhere than spend 20+ Minutes doing something I DON'T WANT TO DO!

I refuse to get assigned to a role I do not choose anymore.

Sure, I'm just one guy who is a long-time player. But this long-time player is sick and tired of this system that does nothing but take away my fun and make me toxic.

Everyone gets it every once in a while. We all do our part, and then it gives us protection and a low likelihood of being autofilled again even after that protection ends.

You're not above everyone else. We all do our part to deal with auto-fill, you can too.

I don't wanna wait 9 years for someone who actually plays support to enter my game. If you don't wanna get auto-filled then lock in support

Getting auto-filled and forced to support once every.. 50 (or so) games? Totally, totally fine. Don't be a baby.

I just pick support every five games or so. This gives me auto-fill protection for the next two games and virtually guarantees the next two gets me the lane I want. It's better to pick support than it is to get auto-filled in support.

You know what? dodge ahead. I think everybody should be able to dodge a game every which while for whatever reason. If yours is, getting auto-filled as support, go right ahead and dodge. I dodge when I'm full of salt and some ADC triggers my spider sense by saying something stupid. Other people dodge when they get premades on their team or when they see an ally is first-timing a champion or they just had a change of heart and they want to go grab a piazza instead.

I mean honestly it's a co-op game. Everybody should be sufficiently ok with playing irregardless of reasons.

however...

I do expect your dodging to be kept to some reasonable minimum. Otherwise games will not be launched because people will "swipe left" game after game in an effort to min-max team composition and allies. So I do think there should be some reasonable, initially small but ramping up, punishement that you would not find pleasent. Like a time out. You don't want the game? fine, don't play, and the game doesn't want you either.

Which is what we have now. So i don't see the problem. Or the usefulness of your initial statement beyond being a vent post. Dodge, and eat your time-out. And do that with the comfort, that I do the same.

I like the autofill system. It attempts to force people to learn other roles. Everyone should know at least the basics of every role.

What would be better is if they forced people to queue as each role a certain number of times before being allowed to play PvP.

If you don't like how the game functions then a very easy solution is to simply not play it. Some people don't play games because of gore, some people don't play games because it's too cutesy, your reason could be not liking a role in the game.

No one "makes" you toxic, you choose to type what you do, and all your actions are your own. Can some be in the heat of the moment? Sure- but what you're saying is a pre-planned attack on a system that has been functioning alright for awhile now. I tried to suggest something where we have different meta games, such as two tops, a jungle, an ADC and a mid, or a couple mids, an adc a jungle and a top, etc. To try to liven up the games and change the dynamic but no one really cared about that because people like the meta how it is and don't mind diversifying for a game every few to enjoy their time.
