Does Gragas have any lane potential remaining?

I really kinda miss the days where Mid and Top was in the meta as im not really a fan of using him jungle. I really enjoyed playing it top. Occasionally i still might find a game where i can top or mid Gragas and i do relatively even in lane i suppose--more or less depending on the match up? It doesn't seem to be to TERRIBLE. But i just wanted to ask what the community thinks: does Gragas have any remaining solo lane viability? What could be changed about him to bring him back into the lanes?

you could try him as a tanky top lane bruiser. shouldnt be bad.

I could still see him going top or support, use your barrels as a support to slow them so your adc can close the kill. W for gap closer and more CC.

He still works as roaming mid, his early lane is really strong, and his ganks are obviously brutal. His lategamescaleing isn't as great for a sololane though, so you should have a snowbally comp that makes good use out of his early roams, or some hypercarrys that he can get ahead early and than trasition into a peeler later on.

Toplane, he's still a rather save lane that becomes a solid frontline and can offer alot in ganks if you have a agressive jungler, but i don't see a reason to pick him over mao for that, unless you prefer fat men over trees ofc...

As support he'S pretty strong though...
