I just laned against him and I've never had such a difficult lane. His auto attack range feels like it goes on forever and he stacks his fish stacks super fast. Even blowing summoner's and trying to juke he lands that stun and instakills you.
Any advice? I tried building QSS but by time I could afford it, I couldnt actually do enough damage to defend myself.

Not joking, it felt that way. I would try to outrun him and he would auto attack two minions length away.

FrickendaChicken2 votesThe idea of Tahm Kench is that he is going to be in your face, and requires a lot of resources to kill him, or keep him off of someone. Resources not being used on a more important champion. He is a lot like mundo. You basically just have to be able to fight him off of you-Aka, simply be stronger. I recommend Pantheon, Olaf, Aatrox, Malphite, or Jax. (If you're top lane) And you'll just have to punish him hard in the bot lane when he runs at you. Lucian, Jinx, Caityn, Tristana, and Ezreal are very good at that. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Auto attackers seem to work poorly since he stacks his red fish nearly instantly.
FrickendaChicken1 votesBut at the same time, him devouring you means he can't devour his teammates. When he does this, it's usually smart for your team to either drop his teammates (because he cannot peal well without devour). Or you have to make the threat noticeable early on his teammates so he has to make the decision before using Devour on you.
