Why Nautilus support will not be nerfed

I'm pretty sure Nautilus will not be nerfed. And if riot would do it their just stupid. Actualy the reason why Nautilus support can be viable is actualy a wakeup call for the current state of supports namely poke supports (early supports) like Karma Zyra just don't have the proper itematization.

Riot already stated they will release an support item build out item 3136. I just hope they will finaly realise it's time to give this a little bit more priority.

I guess you've never had a Karma (or Sona for that matter) walk into lane with 50 AP and a spell thief's.

This is exactly what I'm reffering to. These type of support or the perfect counters for these tank supports. You can perfectly win a lane with Karma against Nautilus. But than you must ask yourself. Why don't players pick her to counter it.

item 3800 just provide a lot more compaired to item 3151. Not only is it 300 gold cheaper. item 3800 provides a lot more to your team than item 3151 ever will.

I'm perfectly fine to play a lane against an Karma just because I known I will be more usefull as an support across the entire game. It's not compairing the matchup anymore. It's what you can do in your role for your team.

Hold on now, your argument is getting a bit off-base. First of all, in terms of itemization there is no reason why Karma can't build item 3800 (in fact, it has great synergy with her R+E). Since we're talking about Karma in the support role specifically, this is actually a strong choice. In addition, Karma has item options that just don't viably exist for Nautilus as a support (like item 3504)

As far as being useful across the entire game, you can't downplay the strengths Nautilus has, for sure. However, Karma is also useful across the entire game, it's just that her playstyle--and even role in teamfights--shifts in the mid-to-late game.

Early to mid game, Karma is a strong poke support. However, when the teamfighting phase starts, Karma transitions into pokes and strong group engaging. Karma excels at getting her whole team into a fight at once. She also helps her carries kite enemies with her slows, roots, shields, etc. It's different than the standard "disrupt the enemy lines" engagement, but it is useful and effective in its own right.

Offcourse Karma can build item 3800. Their are actualy only a verry fell support where the item actualy isn't viable on them. But stat wise it's not an item the suppose to be designed for this role.

When I think about the role of early/poke/mage support you think about ability power, you think about magic penetration and you think about movementspeed when it comes to offensive terms. Karma is a champion that suppose to get ability power but their are actualy only a verry fell support items that actualy provide that stat. And even if they provide it they are actualy really situation picks:

item 3060 item 3504 item 3023 item 3001 item 3151 item 3100 item 3041 item 3157 item 3027 item 3174item 3165 item 3285 item 3135 item 3089 item 3025 item 3003

If you think about a supportive item that is worth rushing it has to contain defensive stats to be viable in terms of blind rushing an item while still have a decent price and provide peeling for your team. Stable support items like that are:

The only thing these things have in common is that they all provide defensive stats. Poke supports suppose to be able todo their job offensively.

I hope you are right about the support item because I keep going tank tell that happens. As Ap is far to hard to get on a support and still be good for you team.

Exactly that why whe desperately need that support item build out item 3136. This is exactly what this group of solid support items needs:
