Im confused. Why did they make Warwicks ult over powered on purpose

isnt the point of the balance team to make all champs have an even power level with strengths and weaknesses? because it seem to me that they knowingly make certain champs over powered on purpose and thats what makes me mad.

they should change the name of there "balance team" to Meta Shifting Team because thats all it is. they have no intention of making all champs equal. Are you telling me they couldnt figure out that warwick would be way over the top in beta testing? I mean i took 1 look at the changes and my first thought was "omg i have to ban ww every game now".

Warwick is an old champ with an old design and needs a massive rework. Riot is working on this. In their old design philosophy at the time, he worked, he worked well. Even now, his kit is good in some areas, bad in others, making it even more clear that he needs that rework and hopefully soon.

His ult isn't overpowered. It just scales to well with some items

It isn't that Riot made his ult overpowered on purpose. Its a result of several changes that inadvertently caused a mechanic (WW's ult) to become abuseable when used in sync with said changes. It will be fixed, but reworking a champion is a poor solution generally, as it will result in more mechanics that need to be re-balanced and made to fit with everything else in the game.
