ARAM is not truly random?

I have Kalista, and I've been given MF, Sivir, caitlyn, and tons of other champions many times in this game mode.

However what I've just noticed is that I don't play Kalista, or haven't played her in at least 6 months. I also haven't ever gotten her in ARAM since a very long time ago.

I'm actually a bit suspicious that this isn't truly random picks.

How often do you play Aram and how many champs do you own?

That's how randomness works.

It's pretty unlikely you'll get a perfectly even spread when doing random things.

It's a lot more common for randomness to result in a general mess of data points that are all over the place in their distribution.

I have 2058 Aram wins, not including the abundant losses and I'm with ya on this. I have never thought ARAM was truly random. If anything, it's a ploy to get you to play champs you haven't played in forever if not ever. Same thing happens when I reroll and constantly get one of the 2 or so tanks I own. Or get my main(s) once every 100 games. But oh well, not like ARAM is a true skillmode game anyhow. But for those of us who enjoy ARAM's, it would be better if each team was balanced, ie tank , carries, and supp but those roles were random in the character that is chosen. Just an idea. ARAM is what I play to rage and realize there's better things to do. Clearly I can't get away from it. FML
