Could you fully restore the 80 Ability Power tier in a mini-5.13 update?

Buff Zhonia's and Rylai's up to 80 Ability Power. Nerf Morellonomicon down to 80 Ability Power where it's always belonged. Now they're all on equal grounds and their utility decides which to buy.

And while you're at it you could buff Athene's up to 50 Ability Power and nerf Ardent Censer down to 50 Ability Power so they form a tier with Zeke's Herald. You've been buffing Ardent Censer ever since you created it, so I doubt its buyers would mind. Again, the utility would decide instead of the Ability Power.

Edit: With Utility I mean other stats, passives, actives, etc.

As of the mid-season 6 Mage update, Morellonomicon is grouped with Seraph's, RoA, and GLP as the core mana items for mages, of which most mages are expected to build one. If you look those items, you see they also end up with 100 AP or more on Seraph's and RoA. GLP only provides 80 AP, but this is compensated with the extra damage spell on the item.

I would put Zhonya's and Rylai's in a "defensive/utility" group. Other potential members of this group would be Abyssal, whose damage amp effect makes a lower AP value make sense, and Protobelt, which gets an active damage spell.

For what it's worth, there are several 80 AP items: item 3030 item 3151 item 3100 item 3115 item 3146 item 3135. Admittedly, some of them are fairly niche. Liandry's can be useful for flat pen, even if no one is stacking health. Void Staff is a staple in mage builds. GLP probably has more general potential than it's given credit for due to the active that gets overlooked due to it being a "mana item"
