I feel like there's a huge misunderstanding about Baron in gold and below elo

Seriously. Baron needs more emphasis.

Of the games my team DONT hard feed and the rare times we are ahead I still almost never see my team take baron. Despite my constant begging and typing only to watch us throw the lead endlessless rushing mid like lemmings off a cliff

In fact what typically happens is.....

We get an ACE.....

ADC goes farming mid for maybe half a wave and 60 odd gold instead of 300 Baron gold and the buff.....

Either pushes trying to take a tower and feeds once the enemy respawns......

Or joins the baron fight late only for the enemy team to have respawned and kill us all and rush mid and win....

Or just bases for that 'item' they too impatient to kill baron before buying which takes all of 10 seconds longer.......

And the rare times they take baron they never....never ever ever ever use super minions and their buffed state to pressure all 3 lanes and/or push mid but instead fight in front of them treating the baron buff as if it turns them into Superman and tben die wasting the buff.

The only solution I can think of is have the map change like the dragons but WHEN he spawns to get people to think about him....but that still won't stop them lemming-suiciding when buffed.

Tooltips?

I really am just fed up being at the mercy of people like this. Maybe the MMR system just needs a complete rework.

I mean if you ACE and all 5 are dead for more than 20 more seconds from the moment you REACH baron and you will be healthyish, sure, baron, you should be able to do it with enemy having 0% chance to steal.

If the enemy even has 1% to steal the baron, you DONT DO IT pre diamond. You push towers and try to pick them as they respawn. Or reset and try for another ACE.

Trusting your team to juggle aggro and not miss the last hit on baron when the enemy has even the slightest chance to steal is stupid imo, and means you don't understand soloq.

Players in this game lower than diamond rank (and even some in diamond and higher) are clueless about what to do to finish the game.

I get the opposite experience in Bronze-G4. Everyone wants baron at the dumbest times.

We killed their support? Lets go baron! We won a teamfight that lasted a minute so their team is respawning while we're half dead? BARON TIME! Red buff was stolen? BARON IT IS! THEY TOOK AN INHIB? BETTER FUCKING BARON!

Most of the time, just resetting or taking a tower and resetting is the right play unless your jungler is alive and healthy, your adc is alive and healthy, you have someone who can tank baron, and the enemy can't 1vX you while you take baron. Baron is known as the throw pit for a reason.

In higher elo Baron is the number one target as soon as it spawn. The first time you kill 3 or more enemies Baron is a must.
