What is Riot going to do about lobby trolls?

If I got autofilled I go the role I was assigned. I do not flame. I do not int feed. Yet when I leave lobby because of troll I'm the one who is punished? Why? I just had a player that got autofilled supp and said he will go jungle (my role) then to discourage me to go jg he baned my pick. Is Riot only solution to this is "play that game and report him after match"? Ok, then let's see what can happen:

  • I humble switch with him, I play the role I do not want, troll gets what he wants. -> this only encourages people to behave that way more
  • I stay with my role and he goes jungle too. We have much smaller chances to win with 2 junglers. We put purselves to disadvantage and probably lose game. -> whole team is pusnished because of one player
  • I dodge -> troll once again wins, I'm punished

Seriously in what way is this fair to players that obey rules? Is such huge company really incapable of any solution? If so I'm sure Boards is fooded with ideas how to prevent this. Just go easy way and use one of them.

What do you suggest they do? What can any game company do to people who are trolling in a lobby where the only way to report them is after matches? And if you do report them, what can you do when the entire system is automated with nobody actually looking at the footage?

Bring back the tribunal. Players should judge and punish other players.

A system ran by players is less perfect than someone being paid to judge people's crimes.
