ok but dont he max out cdr and the 1st item he gets has CDR?

hmmm

so 45 % cdr or 40% on an ult that has 150/140/130 cd and lets say you get 15% cdr by lvl 6 , 30% by lvl 11 and 40% by lvl 16

so at lvl 6 you have a ult with 150sec-15% = 127 seconds , lvl 11 140-30% = 98seconds and lvl 16 130-40% = 52seconds

for a powerful ult that can go over walls with a slight flash aspect and an aoe damage

where as amumu has 150/130/110 cd on his ult and amumu dont build near the amount of damage

So?

Lux has an even shorter CD than that and it's a long range ability that shoot half way across the map from a safe distance without any fears of retaliation if her positioning is good.

however i will agree that fiddle is in a bad spot ... and needs help but he has always kinda been that way...

his cd on ult is far from the issues

This I can agree with. His kit is just like "wtf".

He's not that bad of a spot... He's actually a pretty good counter against champs like LeBlanc

I'm not even asking for that much... I just want like 15 seconds shaved off of it.... or 25

that's also nice...

nobody builds CDR on Fiddlesticks unless they want to get melted before they can do anything

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

really?

no one gets item 3001 item 3157 item 3165 on fiddle ?

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

but so 15% reduction on his ult would still be 127 seconds at lvl 6... and we all know ever damn game fid is gonna have a item 3157 so then it would be 127-10% = 114 second cd on ult at 1 rank

then what if you are running cdr blues which is / or i think should be mandatory on fiddle jungle so lets say another 7.5% cdr from runes so a total of 18% cdr at lvl 6 for 1 rank in ult so 127-18% = 104 seconds then at rank 2 ( lvl 11) 119-18%=98 seconds and then max rank ( lvl 16) 110*18% cdr = 90seconds

so it would be up every team fight along with item 3157 and with out maxing out cdr with the 15% you suggest plus the cdr of zyhonas and cdr runes you have 33% cdr in total compared to now where it would only be 18% cdr with hour glass and cdr runes

sure, lux has its a large line, but fiddle sticks ult takes up nearly the entire lane.

Lux can be put into a support position and her ult last even shorter than short when that happens.

So if the amount of CDR the champion builds should reflect how high/low the champion's CD for their ultimate is then some one like Karthus shouldn't have a 200 second CD on their ultimate since he doesn't buy much CDR, aside from maybe item 3157.

Justifying a champion's ult CD because of CDR is not a good excuse, even if the champion builds CDR. While I will agree that reducing Fiddles ult's CD is not the way to buff him back into the meta but saying it's not to long because of the items he builds is wrong. Also you are comparing his ultimate to Amumu, where Amumu has a built-in way to easily get to the enemy team with his bandage where Fiddle can only jump a short distance and usually needs a Flash to get in the right position.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

well yes and no to the correlation of cdr and ults ... the reason why a champ like Karth has such a high cd on his ult is it is global... has an effect to all 5 enemies on the map

but there are lots of ways fiddle can get in position to ult and some very clever ways...

for example ryze ult... tahm ... a flash ult by janna who flashes behind the enemy putting them closer to fiddle so he can ult on to them kinda like a wombo combo .

there are alot of things that need to be consider and the reason i compared amumu n fiddle is the they both have ap aoe ults with similar cds its not the best example but its close enough to provide a point

Karthus doesn't have to go kamikaze to get his off. Not to mention he can use his while he is dead.

Y'know , Fiddle comes from a completely different era . Back then champions had that one spell where all the power of the champion was put in . Fiddle's R is such a strong ultimate , it can win teamfights alone . And usually , Fiddle ult = kill and few summoner spells down . It would be absurd to give him a smaller CD that it is now .

Remember that time when he lasted long enough for his ultimate to actually be useful, not be silenced, and having to charge it on top of it?

Me neither.

Hey look Fiddle is ulting, lets walk away slowly.
