Could we maybe reduce the cooldown on Banshee's Veil a bit?

Currently it's 40 seconds, which seems a bit much when compared to the more reliable protection of Zhonyas. Most mages would rather have the invulnerability, and I don't see Banshee's built much except on initiators like Fizz or Diana. The fact that you also have to avoid taking any champion damage for the cooldown's duration makes it almost impossible to use more than once in a protracted engagement, and could potentially extend its cooldown even longer than Zhonyas. I think a duration of 30 seconds, or even 20, would be reasonable. Either that or just remove the clause that disallows champion damage while keeping it at 40 seconds. That way mages might actually make a choice between Banshees and Zhonyas rather than just choosing Zhonyas all the time.

item 3285 and Pools SHOULDNT POP banshies. there is so much stupid shit that pops banishes. Stuff that shouldnt.

I think they should rework Banshies so that it acts like.

Only breaks and dispells that ability when it deals more than 5% of your Remaining HP. Or would have made you loose control of your character(Like Hard Cc) not slows. This way, This doesn't save you from everything. Like the item 3905 item 3800 item 3143 and stopping the slow

So if you had 1 HP. and a ludens would have proc that Would have killed you, now it would just negate the damage. That would feel clutch. Compared to it procing off a minion and poping it.

If the cooldown were any lower it could be considered an early game rush item.

item 3157 can kill you, item 3102 can't Now serious responce: In my opinion Banshee is fine Everyone builds Zhonyas because it is broken, because it builds off Stopwatch, also its build path is much better. If I want to build Banshee to counter magic damage: I get a item 1033 with its +25 MR, and then nothing until full item If I want to build Banshee to counter dangerous catching spells: nothing until full item Compare to: If I want to build Zhonyas to counter physical damage: I get a item 1029 , then I can get another one, then I can combine them into a item 3191 , then I can stack it for an equivalent of +1item 1029 , and sit in this +45 armor for a while if I don't really need Zhonyas itself If I want to bild Zhonyas for its active: I get a item 2420 (and there is a rune for free one) that allows me to survive 1 Zed ult or whatever else before I finish the item itself. 800 gold recipe is also somewhat worse than 300

The real issue with item 3102 is that, for some reason in 2k19, its passive CD still resets to the full 40 secs if you get grazed by so much as a item 3285 proc, not to mention that the same proc also wastes the shield itself. Heck, hitting a guy with item 3076 resets the full CD.

Maybe let's start by making it so that this, you know, doesn't happen.

How about getting the rune that reduces item CDR instead of proposing we bring back the banshees veil meta.

Maybe in AP vs AP matchups. The ability to ward off a threat every, let's say, 30 seconds at a time is pretty strong. Early game, cooldowns are still relatively long so 'just popping their banshees' actually takes more effort 'to pop' if the interval were any shorter.

Although not a huge difference but could you imagine if it were still laning phase, "Hey his banshee's is popped come gank again!" Only to find out that it's up again would be pretty annoying.

And like the person before me said, Zhonya's can get you killed. Banshee's can't. You do not have to proactively use Banshee's, rather, your opponent has to actively play around it. Whereas Zhony'as you have to be conscious of when to activate it.

Yeah no. Everyone (or rather ap users) build it because its the only defensive item they get. Unlike ad carriers, mages dont get ga, lifesteal, maw or qss to deal with shit coming their way. Unlike ad assassins, ap assassins dont get, ga, maw or qss. Riot literally has one item that they can buy for defense (without hitting their main purpose, aka dealing dmg).
