Fiddlesticks E like in the video "A twist of fate"?

For those who didn't see that video (it's an official but quite old one), there Fiddlesticks uses some sort of directed AoE attack that didn't look like his ultimate (as, for example, the crows were attacking in a precise direction instead of circling him).

So, what if his E's random targeted bouncing was replaced with an AoE? It could be a rectangle centered on Fiddle (similar to Thresh's E). Or it could be a traveling flock of crows, similar to Ezreal's ultimate (with a range limit of course) (I would like this one best).
