Something from Gangplank's kit needs to go.

  • He gets a free slow, which also doubles as a movement speed buff.
  • Gets to proc sheen on a ranged attack which isn't even an actual auto attack.
  • Gets to proc kepto and Grasp on a ranged attack which isn't even an auto attack.
  • Gets a free quicksilver sash.
  • Has zero mana cost on his barrels which while not easy to line up, can be spammed infinitely.
  • A global ult which also slows for some reason.

When people speak of overloaded champions, they usually skip Gangplank. I find this to be rather funny because GP has had a no-counterplay kit for a very long time which I find is very unhealthy for the game.

At the very least he needs higher mana costs on his abilities with barrels actually charging mana, or have the grasp/klepto/sheen proc removed from his ranged auto attack. Additionally the mechanic where he gains MS as well as slows people on every barrel hit is fucking ridiculous and clearly an oveloaded feature which shold have left ages ago.

Morde's kit is nowhere overloaded. In fact Morde is one of the few champions who has only a few options to play around with.

Overtuned, yes. Overloaded, absolutely not.

You don't see Morde have two dashes, stealth, an AOE knockup, and heal all in one kit. You don't even know what the definition of "overloaded" is.

You named 6 things for Gp and called it overloaded.

  1. He has that broken ass ult which not only takes stats from a player like trundles ult but also puts you in a 1v1 arena with that player and lets you keep the stats for a duration if you kill the champion during his ult
  2. Free magic pen
  3. Sustain
  4. Tankiness with shield
  5. Insane dmg from a decent range
  6. CC with his pull that can be used as a gap closer or an escape depending on the direction you cast it in.
  7. % health dmg which is dealt to anyone around him, he doesnt even need to be attacking them, oh and this procs rylais' slow too and he gains movespeed from it too
  8. On hit magic dmg = to 40% of his ap. Free wits end proc but stronger

But you know not overloaded in the slightest.

GP doesnt even fit your definition of overloaded and you still call him overloaded LOL

60 mana on Rank 1 Q isn't cheap. So is 80 - 120 mana on W. Barrels on the other hand can be easily countered back by ranged opponents or melee opponents who can time their AAs right before GP gets to proc first. Lastly, GP is super vulnerable to dive champions like Fiora & Riven since he doesn't have dashes.

All I'm reading from this post is a typical QQ post from one who got recently rekt by a GP.

It's not free, it requires him to hit his barrels which can be destroyed/dodged by the enemy.

Gets to proc sheen on a ranged attack which isn't even an actual auto attack.

It's an on hit ability, without the on hit part, it's literally just a single target ranged basic attack.

Can also be destroyed by the enemy, have moderate CD if you actually chain them, which is the only viable way to actualy hit a semi competent enemy with them

On a very long CD with barely any actual damage unless you stay inside it for it's entire channel.

I find it ironic you're talking about "free" stats in a champion's kit when you play morde, who literally gets "free" MS and % health damage in AoE for just hitting 3 basic attacks/abilities. Aswell as "free" magic penetration on an already strong enough ability. But you know, totally not biased.
