Another Diana rework

Ironstylus put that "Rework Diana" topic up a few months ago, and I didn't try anything then, but I think I've got something rough right now.

The idea is to change out Diana being an assassin and remaking her into an AP/AS fighter who does DPS rather than good burst. Right now, there's no Champion who I'd call a magic-type melee carry, so Diana could fit the bill.

Here are some rough ideas for new/modified skills (take them with a grain of salt).

P - Moonsilver Blade

Same as before, but grants higher amounts of AS at level intervals. Some of the base damage and possibly AP ratio should be reduced to compensate, making it better in a DPS-fashion rather than burst.

Q - Crescent Strike/Lunar Rush

Merged together Diana's live Q and R in a Lee Sin-esque fashion. First, you use Q as normal, which then lets you use Lunar Rush with Q once within the next 3 seconds. HOWEVER, you can only target enemies hit by Crescent Strike, meaning you need to land that ranged shot first. Reduce Crescent Strike's damage and put some of it into Lunar Rush (which should be adjusted in damage since it will be a normal skill instead of an ultimate) to require Diana to take a risk if she wants to deal the greater part of the damage.

W - Pale Cascade

Same as before. Good skill, nothing needs changing.

E - Lunari Fervor (NEW!)

New skill: For X seconds, Diana gains increased attack speed and magic penetration. Kills and assists reduce the cooldown.

R - Moonfall

Moonfall is now Diana's ultimate, has a larger AOE, and also deals magic damage along with its other effects, which are upgraded since it will be an ultimate. Cooldown is drastically increased.

Again, these are just rough ideas, but they might start something. Any comments?

I notice a lot of people wanting her E moved to her ult and scaled up accordingly. I'm all for that.

The joined Q dash is interesting, although if I understand it right that takes out the possibility of a double dash, which limits her effective range a lot. Not too much of a fan of that to be honest. With a kit using her as an epicenter and still somewhat shortrange (auto + W), that makes her very ult dependent.

Out of curiosity what do you see a 'new' Diana doing? Her blurred lines for role are the primary reason her kit's annoying to balance. Assassin, AP Light Fighter (like yasuo/yi) or AP Heavy Fighter (Like Renek, Shyv)?

Probably AP light fighter, but that'd involve Diana being forced to buy resists too much. Her shield is simply not enough for her to avoid heavy damage.

in his rework it becomes a lee sin, no need, there is already the first.

Diana needs something to preseve their identity, and improve their chances. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/2ARzPAsB-redesign-diana-but-with-no-numbers-to-ironstylus
