It’s free. Why would you be upset. It used to be nothing was free. There wasn’t free skins, emotes, runes, etc.

No, they dropped key fragment drop rate heavily, then tied it into honor, so effectively, under the honor system we get less rewards than before.

Ah, that could be. I have more keys than ever and get one every time I log in so I haven’t noticed much a difference. Before the new honor system was in place, honor did not award anything. Before there was a loot system there was almost no way to get anything free.

If people are going to complain about the reward maybe Rito should give out less rewards but make them more valuable.

They also gutted orange essence to the point where I just roll every time I get 3 skins because breaking big skins for 100 essence isn't worth it.

Yeah, I've gotten legendary tier skins off my rolls for rolling what would normally give me around 400 OE. It's rng but the result will probably always be higher value than disenchanting 3 for barely any essence.

Yeah, I'm thinking it over. I have 3, worth 404 to disenchant. I don't know that I would ever use them, but it still feels like I'm losing something if I disenchant into a permanent that is worth less.

It gives you a little, not nothing. Key fragments add up, especially if you're getting one every other day just for honors.

Honestly, what do you want? What do you think we deserve more than what we're getting? What specifically are we missing to make this system good?

At a minimum a champ shard, new honor level should have a 50% chance of being a skin shard.

I mean, if its just 200 BE and 2 key frags, id be upset too. If youre going to create a positive reinforcement system, at least make it feel worth. Honor 3 gets a ward skin. At least give an emote or something. Or hell, a full key.

Sure, its free stuff. But you still want it to feel impactful if you want people to take it seriously. A negative experience with a free thing can lead to not bothering with the paid thing, because the reality is nothing is ever free.

I wish they came up with something called "Hextech Blueprint" or something per check point, as well.

Once you collect 3 of those (which is akin to leveling up), you can make a Hextech Chest. Only Honor 3 and up can qualify.

And for those concerned with abuse, since it takes like a whole year to reach from Level 3 to 5, at most, you'll get 2 (maybe 3?) chests.

It'd be a nice perk to staying honorable.

That's correct. From the Honor capsule, that is. I mean, the rewards are pretty paltry (a few key frags and some BE), so having a little extra incentive would be nice. Especially when you can't even use the frags without a chest. Plus, it's not a big enough reward to cause Riot any big financial losses (considering you can get chests for S- per champ), while it's nice to be able to have a chance to get a potential skin out of it.

Just a little bonus for keeping it cute on the Rift.

ARAM, on the other hand, is a blood bath and you will be destroyed.

Additionally to the current means. They're saying rather than only getting chests when you get S ranks you could get "hextech blueprints" that would basically be the hextech chest version of key fragments.

I just got honor 4 checkpoint 1 and im soo glad fro my 2 keys and 200 BE. I play almost every champ and like to lv them up so i need the BE and i have 10 boxes sitting around that i cant open because i dont have enough keys.

idk why but by the time i get to open a few chest i get more chest so even though i open chest whenever i have keys and play for 3-5 almost every day collecting honor 90% of the time im at 10 chest.
