An inclusive list of the upcoming reworks! Who deserves it sooner?
With the very promising Nunu rework hitting PBE, i decided to write down a list of the long way ahead, that is the list of the champions that are, in my opinion, candidates for a rework. I classified them into the ones that i belive need a full VGU, and the ones that could get away with only a VU; moreover i ranked them in their respective categories according to my own personal judgment regarding how badly the need a rework as soon as possible.

FULL VGU: those champions aren't up the standard! They may also lack a clear collocation in the lore.
Those are, in my opinion, champions in desperate need for a complete reinvention of theme, aesthetics and gameplay; their reworks should take absolute priority:
Mordekaiser
Pantheon
Dr. Mundo
Kayle
The following are, instead, dated champions with dated kits whose rework should focus on delivering their fantasy and fleshing out their gameplay niches:
Fiddlesticks
Nocturne
Shaco
Malphite
Tryndamere
Udyr
Wukong
The last ones can function fine in the current game, but they may have lacking appearances and kits with large room for improvements:
Volibear
Annie
Amumu
Cho'Gath
Diana
Jax

VU ONLY: to be honest, the fact that those champions have solid gameplay doesn't mean their VU can't be the occasion to change one spell or two in order to improve things! Anyway, they may need only slight gameplay changes, nothing major:
Absolutely unwatchable:
Anivia
Zilean
Singed
Morgana
Blitzcrank
Veigar
Rammus
Pretty decent but not enough:
Jarvan IV
Ezreal

How you can see, there is a considerable amount of champions that need work! (~ 17% of the roster). Even considering only the more urgent full VGUs, that's 17 champions, which means by current rate of rework release, at least 4 more years of waiting! That's a lot, but i think reworks are a delicate matter and they should take all the time they need.
