@Meddler - The New Leash System Punishes Counterjungling

In what I'm certain is an unintended interaction, jungle monsters will now follow you forever. If you eat up a delicious big raptor and take a few small raptors, leaving one left for the enemy jungler to have to clear (denying him XP and gold as is the intention of counterjungling), that one raptor will chase you past red buff. That gives the enemy jungler lots of additional information he didn't have before, namely that you are still in his jungle and he can quickly call his team to come corner you.

Yes, ranged jungling is a thing now. Hooray hooray but this interaction is not good for the game, so maybe we can find a happy compromise between reset if you step more than 5 feet away from the camp and chase you past red buff.

The problem is that it isn't. It follows you until it's patience meter runs out, but the patience meter runs out at a fixed rate, so it could be near red before it actually agros off

Yeah, I really dislike the new leashing system. I've had camps reset on me as Shaco when I drop a lot of boxes on a red or blue buff to start; as each box dies, it loses a chunk of patience, and by the time it gets to me, it's red or almost gone -- and if I drop another box, it actually resets. : /

Master Yi also has a problem with this, though not as much. Having the monsters lose patience every time you Q is a little aggravating.

Yeah, but Yi will only Q once, maybe twice early game, per camp. So it's not as noticeable. Shaco's first camp involves four boxes that die immediately, and another one you place that dies too. So it changes target like... 6 times. Resets if you do anything the slightest bit wrong, and it's really annoying. >.>

Also happens with Tahm when you devour something.
