Stop making new advanced tiers and start making new lower tiers

I'm bloody tired of this. My climbing experience in ranked is literally half-full of people that call roles and proceed to feed so hard you'd think we were giving charity to Kenyans. I've been doing the most to better my own play from what I can do, but it's infuriating that I go a step up only to get riddled with bad teammates until I demote back down a step, and I believe it's because that everyone from "the average player" to "holy god damn awful" to "lucky he got carried in his provisionals" are all centered around the same two tiers: Bronze and Silver. Then you start bottle-necking the top 20% and up with Gold, Plat, Diamond, Master, AND Challenger divisions. So for the two "lower" tiers, we have FIVE "advanced" tiers? This doesn't make sense, and that's exactly why we have an "elo hell".

The tiers should eventually make a bell-curve shape, with most average players somewhere around the middle of the ladder. Why is it that average players have to share elbow room with awful players? Why is it that my friend, who is definitely bad at decision making and thinking things through, can get lucky in provisionals and land Silver II and sit on that rank without fear of decaying while I'm here grinding out hundreds of games improving myself, but I get stuck with adcs that go 0/10/10 or 2/8/5 and support Mundos, thus I constantly bounce around low-mid Silver? This crap isn't fair. You'd think you'd get a functional team in a team game, huh?

Can we please do something to filter out the decent players from those that belong on the lower end of the dang spectrum? If I'm to blame, I'll admit it. I don't always have perfect games either. But I'm so freaking done with looking like I'm worse than what I am because I have a dude call a role he can't play. If Silver is the true "middle point" of this ladder, it shouldn't be the cesspool Riot just dumps every dang dude with only 5 games under their belt unless they were ranked well enough the season before. Even out the laddering experience so people can have good games. I'm tired of this frustration. Does ANYONE agree with me here?

Here's the thing:

If I'm Bronze III or IV, I can be matched with anyone around that area. So any Bronze V-II will be my ally or opponent. If I'm Silver V, I'm still gonna get Bronze III-I players on my team. If there's nowhere lower to go for the "worst and worse still" players, they're gonna be causing huge traffic jams all across that lower part of the spectrum. To boot, Silver is basically the "default" spot it puts any random person, even as far up as high silver. It just makes the climbing experience miserable half of the time.

Um...OK, let me put it this way:

High silver is actually a HUGE gap from low silver, skill wise, assuming they weren't just placed there and they deserve to be there. A low silver isn't gonna learn anything unless they go up against someone like a mid silver, so they can steadily learn their way up. School of hard knocks only works for some people and in some games. This game takes time to gradually feel your way through all the champs and how your few champs play against many others. Even then, you still have to rely on random teammates. It only makes things worse when you have to have a large variance in skill from one teammate to another, which is the problem.

Tightening the match-making on the lower end would make the middle point more bearable, seeing how less "lesser" players would be there at the same time. They'd be a tier lower, which would make the system pair them up with others in their tier more often.

I'd just like to point out that there actually is a bell curve right now, just not with the tiers. Bronze 5 is the lowest division you can see, but the hidden mmr goes far below that point. The middle mark is 1200 mmr and guess what, most people are there, and below bronze 5 is the master and challenger tier in reverse, you just can't see it. Bronze 5 is about 800 mmr i believe, and you can drop waaaay below that, and you will get matched with other players of similar mmr. You are silver 4 and you are close to 1200 mmr, you are close to the peak of the bell curve even if it doesn't look like you are.

And tney do filter out players who are better or worse, those who are great climb fast, those who are worse drop. I know it doesn't feel like that to you, i know it feels like you are unlucky with team mates and it's always your teams fault for feeding, afking, raging or trolling. But i promise you, if you ever get good enough to climb to platinum, you will have NO problem whatsoever doing that climb again.

One last thing, the baddies never stop coming, no matter your tier, there will always be players who rage, troll, feed or afk. Some games when you perform badly, there is someone on your team thinking, why am i stuck with these trash players? If you want to climb in this game, you need to stick to your own plays, and your own plays only. Learn to help your team, if you feel like someone is always performing badly, do something about it, learn to prevent it, place more wards, camp their lane, get super fed yourself.

I mean, I've had plenty of friends tell me to focus on myself and my plays. I do, and it's been helping me improve in comparison to where I once was. However, it just makes the bad teammates and the unwinnable situations even more frustrating. By large margins. I just think that the match-making should group skill levels closer together when you're on the lower half or middle part of the spectrum, seeing how they seemingly overdid it on the upper half anyway.
