No one likes support because you can't carry from support

I just started playing solo ranked this season and am currently 9-1 on Taric. I'm sure this is because my team mates carry me every single game and not because I'm a good support though because a win a support is just a free win that you had nothing to do with.

What people should be saying is that a bad support can't carry. This is the same with every position. If you are good at what you are doing and you consistently win games then you are carrying whether you are playing support with 70% kill participation keeping the map lit up all game, feeding as Singed to take every objective possible, or going 10-0 on a middle lane assassin. People saying supports can't carry are ignorant of how an ADC gets fed in the first place. The ADC doesn't get kills themselves. The support has to set it up and keep them alive. I would take a good support and bad ADC over a bad support and good ADC any day.
