10 bots in last 5 PvP games
And 4 of those games were 3v3. That means 10 out of 29 other players I have played with were bots, which is approximately 34.5%.
This of course was on two smurf accounts, one was level 29 and the other level 17. I am trying some off builds and want to play in a few games with less pressure, but I haven't found one single game yet with all human players. Two of the bots were level 29 themselves and there were 2 level 30 players in that game, so it can affect every player. For the record, I won most of those games anyway and a couple of them were actually even matches due to bots on both sides. I am not angry, just really disappointed in my gaming experience lately because it's completely unfun-even more so than a full game DC.
How do I know they were bots? If you have played with one it's clear:
-They always take ghost/heal (I think or something like that) and use them at inopportune times -They Ignore tower shots and ignore you attacking them -They buy certain items and no consumables, I think boots start is common but I need to pay more attention to this -Obviously, they cannot communicate in chat or emote in game
It's sad people do this to grind when the entire point of playing a game in the first place is to enjoy the experience in the first place, but I digress as I'm not here to preach.
What I want is two things:
- People to be aware of the signs of a bot in their game and
- Every non bot in the game to report
I do understand that false positives are tricky and we want to avoid that. It should be very obvious when you have a bot on your team though. I think Riot needs to create a special report option for botting (and/or scripting). Something like a "tampering" option for people messing with the game itself and make those cases higher priority. Please upvote if you think this issue is important to bring it to people's attention. Perhaps as a community we can make an impact even if Riot doesn't see it as a priority.
