Full team vs all solo queuers?

Why can a full team of 3 people queuing together be matched with 3 solo queuers on TT normals? It's bad enough there are bots everywhere on that map on the lower levels. Is this like a bug or did Riot just decide they don't care about that map any more?

It can happen on any map when the matchmaking system figures that the premade has waited long enough without a match. Premade vs. premade is only a preference, not a guarantee.

Interesting I did not know that. Kind of silly but I guess if it's only in rare cases it's better than making people wait forever.
