So why are people freaking out about the buffs that haven't even made it out to live?

Like for real, I can't go a second without seeing a Hatesuo thread on these boards. And people want Riot to listen to the boards. Huh. Something has to change, and it's not Riot that has to change at all. People can put two and two together to find the answer to that. EDIT- Let me spread some wisdom here. Yasuo wouldn't be complained about a lot like this if QSS didn't exist.

Because the fact that they made it to PBE is worrying enough.

Wanna know why?

Because the Janna changes made it to PBE. And 100% of players aside from diehard Janna mains took a look at those changes and said "that shit is ridiculous."

And then the changes made it to live.

Sure, they got hotfixed a few hours into it, but they made it to live.

Then the Galio changes made it live as well, despite the fact that people were one-shotting people with his Q on the PBE for fun. Not even the Galio mains denied that one being overpowered.

And yet it still made it to live.

People are losing their shit over PBE changes because Riot's history justifies them being worried about it.

People would rather have Yasuo be put in Yorick status than to exist in this game. Both Zoe and Yas are "aids", but they'd rather deal with the harder one (Zoe) than the easier one (Yasuo).

  1. That has nothing to do with anything I said.

  2. Are you out of your damn mind? People have been complaining about Zoe since her release. Just because they're ALSO complaining about Yasuo now doesn't mean they don't want Zoe to jump off a cliff and take her busted-ass CC with her.

Let me just say this as a parting. The moment cc tanks like Maokai come back into the meta is the moment Yas will fear for his existence in game.

You still haven't responded to anything I've actually said.

Why is it even a thing in pbe? That is the real question.

Anyone with a brain knows it isn't necessary, wanted, good for the game, nor for the champion.

Yas players want that crit damage -10% off of his kit, yet Riot cant do it because the community would be in full riot mode over any type of change towards him, like it is right now.

Because 99% of the time the changes on the PBE go live. Literally the only times they DON'T make it to live is when they decide to delay it a week or two.

The PBE is honestly just for show so that Riot can pretend that they actually test things before putting them live.

Is it really Riot's fault the PBE is useless for testing, or is it the community that would rather goof off on it all the time?

It's no one's fault. PBE exists to do crazy things with the changes, and it isn't at all surprising that's how the community treats it.

It would be nearly impossible to have a testing realm that actually gave valuable data on balance.

" So why are people freaking out about this hurricane that hasn't even made it to shore yet?" Regardless of what anyone thinks about Yasuo, this isn't a very good point.

######Also, if like weather listened to community feedback and so a storm might go away if people said they didn't want it, that would probably actually serve to encourage people to do that...

They don't use the PBE for balancing.

I share your annoyance about the tone of the posts, but I do believe it's correct to give feedback about them before they hit live. Otherwise, it looks like the community just didn't think there was anything wrong with that approach.

Something I noticed about these changes is that it doesn't buff Yasuo's early game, which is when I personally find him the most annoying. After laning phase, I don't have a disproportionately difficult time with him (compared to other champs).

Im not saying feedback is wrong, but it just feels like any time a Yas change is even mentioned, the community just goes on a riot about it. They dont say its a mistake, they say its a plot or just a injustice towards the community. THATS the annoyance about the posts.

For the same reason you'd be if somone told you they were going to punch you in the face next week and every following week and you couldn't do anything about it. :-)

because speaking out against a over the top stupid change is the only way to make sure it DOESNT go live, even yasuo mains were against it because they dont want their champ permaed
