Kinda getting tired of these Jax bullshit shenanigans where Counterstrike is up 24/7. He could be 0/10 but once he gets that item its like you have to be perfect to beat him. The people who use it break it (Jax, Ren, Sometimes Riven) and you dont see that as an issue? Remove it like you did when you fucked up and made Banner god tier.

Spear of Shojin passive changed to "Takes (2.5% total AD)% reduced damage while near enemy champions, stacking up to 3 times." Throw in a maximum damage reduction of 10/11/13/14/16/17/18/19/20/21.5/23/24/25/26/27/28/29/30 (based on level) damage reduction to balance it so Rengar and Jhin don't get too carried away
I am a Renekton main and I agree that item should be completely removed. It is just too RNG based in some situations it's very OP in another absolutely useless.
What has never made any sence is why it has 20% CDR on top of its OP passive....

As a Jax main, I agree. The item is giga broken on some champs. Though, I wouldnt revert it to its old effect cuz then ur gunna have 
litterally 1v5'ing ur team when they are ahead due to the damage reduction based off of AD. Make a new effect entirely.
As someone who plays Renekton almost exclusively on my alt because of the item.....yup. It doesn't matter if you bully and win the lane or get countered and lose early, the MOMENT you have level 6 + you just win the matchup.
I'm a spear user and from what im seeing theres some confusion on the balance of the item. spear is a expensive item to build and isnt usually one you can just pick midgame and throw into your build. i use it on xayah for example and it is amazing to be able to brawl with my abilities rather than my auto attacks becuase it does more damage but has a larger gap between bursts in exchange, its not perfect either the cd's being just long enough that they wont be up again before they have a chance to kill you. i actually dont see enemy players build spear very often because other items have greater value for their champs whereas spear is more offmeta because it changes your playstyle. i feel its viable but only for pre-game strategy unconventional builds

stat checks at every point in the game with grasp/ tanky build.
I think shojin is a nice concept that could lead to some fun and interesting builds (shojin darius, shojin illaoi, shojin nocturne, olaf, fiora, rhaast etc), but unfortunateky its worth picking up on just a few of its potential users - the ones that the item breaks.
